Enoteca indipendente “La Ragion Pura” nasce based in Pallanza (Verbania), founded on Giorgio's passion and experience. Since 1985, he has been carefully selecting the finest Italian wines from small, quality-focused wineries.
Our services include:
- Retail sales of wines, beers and spirits, both in-store and online (in negozio e online)
- Wine consultancy and organisation of wine tasting events
- Participation in events with our own gazebos and tasting stands, serving and showcasing the products we represent

In our Shop, you'll find a selection of Italian wines, from reds and whites to rosés and dessert wines, with a special focus on sparkling wines: Franciacorta, Trento DOC and Champagne. Our range is completed by a selection of gourmet specialities and wine accessories, perfect for pairing with a good bottle or finding an original gift idea.

The staff were great and helped us find a range of different wines that we wouldn't usually be able to get outside of Italy including a couple of very interesting natural wines. Well worth a visit.

Il titolare ci ha offerto una gradevole degustazione con tagliere e prosecco proposto da lui: sì, l'abbiamo anche acquistato! Bella esperienza, sicuramente da rifare!

I highly recommend booking a wine tasting (great for a celebration) or simply to buy from his extensive selection of wines and spirits. George is so kind and fun, and he makes both tasting and buying wine a real delight. It was such a wonderful experience!

May 11, 2024If you are looking for wines and artisanal food to pair look no further. The owner Giorgio is friendly and helpful. He sat down with me for a wine tasting and even though I don’t speak Italian we had a spirited conversation. There is a very extensive selection of wines of all price ranges. The interior is cozy and soulful. Giorgio even gave me some tips for eating out and sightseeing and they were great! (Giorgio if you are reading this Caffe delle Rose was amazing, grazie mille!)

He has an amazing selection and chooses the tasting according to your prefrences! Best to book in advance so he can put the wines you like in the fridge :)) The wines and great and you get a cheese & meat tray which was also tasty!
